Terms and Conditions for Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais

Liability

  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais and its travel agent partners are not responsible for any inherent risks associated with travel and surfing, which may lead to accidents or incidents under ordinary conditions. In this way travel insurance that cover radical sports is mandatory.
  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais and its travel agent partners are not liable for accidents, injury, or loss of life arising from traveling or surfing activities.
  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais does not accept responsibility for late arrivals or non-arrival of the guests or surfboards, surfboard bags, or other luggage.
  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais is not liable for injury, death, damage, financial loss, travel delays, costs, or inconvenience due to unforeseen travel misfortunes such as weather, natural disasters, disease, war, terrorism, or mechanical failures of transportation. If the guest opt for an alternative way of transport the difference cost will be charged.

Deposits

  1. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  2. Deposits are non-refundable.

Payment

  1. Final payment is due at least 30 days before departure and is non-refundable.
  2. Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, personal check, money order, or credit card.
  3. Acceptance of these terms is indicated by any form of payment, total or partial.
  4. Credit card payments incur a 3.5% processing fee for both deposits and balances.
  5. Wire transfers require a $25 processing fee due to incoming bank charges.

Cancellation Policy

  • Booking payments are non-refundable but transferable within 60 days before departure.
  • Failure to pay the balance 3 weeks before the trip will result in loss of reservation and deposit.
  • There are no refunds for early departures due to bad weather, mechanical problems or unstable political situations or any other situation that the resort cannot control. If the guests stay longer, he must be charged for additional time he may stay at the resort.
  • Acceptance of these terms is implied upon payment.

Travel Insurance

  1. Travel insurance is mandatory for all trips for your safety.

Documents

  1. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure from Indonesia.
  2. A valid visa is required, if applicable.
  3. Some countries require a yellow fever vaccine administered at least 10 days before traveling to Indonesia.

Health

  1. Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais is not responsible for any health issues caused by environmental factors during your stay.

Responsibility

  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais takes due care in providing services and activities. Guests participate at their own risk.
  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais will not be held liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss, or other claims arising from activities or services, even in cases of negligence.
  • Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais is not liable for direct or indirect losses, including consequential or economic loss, due to injury, illness, damage, or other claims.
