The Hidden Bay Resort Mentawais is located in a private bay in the center of the more than 24 surfing spots around the North Mentawais area. The Resort was created with a unique and innovative concept, based on the tripod: comfort, healthy meals and moore: physical and psychologic maintenance. We are already here for 10 years going surfing daily so we really know where to go and when. Training center with highly qualified professionals and focused on the regeneration of your body and mind after each surfing session. Andreia Fornaro from ANDAI PILATES is the responsible for the professional team who help our guests to be in shape and ready for all surfing seasons. Yoga, meditation, Pilates, Bio-mechanics, and techniques of five Konzept (German method with little time to practice and without much effort regenerate all muscle groups) are the tools that will make your surf trip with no pain and minimal muscle and physical stress.

Professional surf guides will take care not only to take you to the best waves conditions but also to help improve your surfing skills with tips, positioning, wave reading.
Professional video and photo packages available including the use of drone and aquatic images. Free daily surf analysis after the dinner, and it is a must to watch yourself and understand what you need to improve.
Video packages are already part of the surfing package.
Exclusive location away from traditional surf camps areas with two waves in front of the resort, the wave of Hideaways just 3 minutes by boat and more than 20 world-class waves on average 15 minutes by boat from the resort.
We have the most stable and faster boats in the Mentawais and also a small fiber boat that will take you to the closest spots.

For Non-Surfers
We offer various activities such as snorkeling, stand up, fishing, treking, game room, massages and more. They are perfect options for those who follow the surfers or just for those who are attracted by the beauty, culture and magic of one of the most charming places in the world. The training center also offers activities for non surfers like yoga, meditation, pilates and functional Five Knozept. All of this in a familiar ambience Alex and his family will be a great company, specially for family and kids.
All this in a privileged and exclusive bay protected by a coral reef and a white sandy beach over 1.5km extension toward the rising sun.
The Structure
The architecture of the buildings are based on the traditional style of the Mentawai, valuing the culture of the region, but adding items that combine comfort and well being. The entire complex extends over a private bay with white sandy beach and crystal clear water stretching for 1.5 kilometers. It is a magical bay with a touch of rusticity and provide a perfect atmosphere between the sea and the raining forest. The Sikerei Restaurant is the largest traditional local style building all around offering 3 floors mixing many different ambients.
The Environment
Concern for the environment is another important point, both in construction and in operation logistics, in order to maintain the lush nature of the region. 30 deep fresh water, reuse of garbage, septic tank in all facilities, use of solar panels are some examples of this concern.
The venue for the Resort was no accident. Its location is right in the center of the North Mentawais area, surrounded by the ocean and the rain forest.
We are glad to announce a new project using @biorock methodology in order to restore corals and build new coral colonies in our bay. Many thanks to Delphine Robbe and Tasya Karissa from @giliecotrust and @biorockindonesia. In these way when you stay at our place, you are also helping the environment conservation.
